Data Oasis Logo Design

Client: Laura Anne Edwards, Data Oasis

Project: Logo design for Data Oasis, an index and global resource hub for open data archives and best practices founded by Laura Anne Edwards.

Laura is the serves on the US State Department’s Technology and Innovation Subcommittee for Public Private Partnerships. Recently, she was selected to be a NASA Datanaut and participate in the inaugural cohort of the 14-week TED Residency program in New York City which lead to being short listed for the prestigious Aaron Swartz Fellowship.

Her project request was for a logo that was clean, strong, and contemporary, and the development of a color palette which would translate well for implementation on diverse presentation graphics as well as digital and print collateral.
